Sweden & Norway: Match the hatch Brown-Trout fishing.

Norway and Sweden has a rich insects life and fish that will happily rise to the surface to feed on them. With the breathtaking scenery over high mountain peaks covered in snow and emerald coloured rivers, here we will be matching the hatch and go all in on dry-fly fishing for selective brown trout. A few days of guiding will  prepare you and also help you maximize your fishing trip to this river.

We will be fishing crystal clear rivers filled with beautiful brown trout. Fly-Fishing  here can be very challenging and I do recommend these trips for people who have  learnt how to cast with a fly rod and have some basic experience.

Option 1:  1st generation Baetis Rhodani. Season: 10th – 25 june. We will be chasing browns with size 14-16 dry flies in this stunning looking river valley. The Baetis Rhodani may fly has two life cycles in a year, and this is the first one to hatch.  It is amazing how much big fish these tiny insect push towards the surface. Travel to and from the destination is not included in the price, please contact med for more details regarding how to get there or if you need to have airport pickup

A minimum of 3 days of guiding is required.

Option 2: Ephemerella Aurivillii. Season: 25th June-15th july. Anglers in Sweden and Norway adore this little mayfly and so does the fish. Fishing can be nothing short of magical when the Aurivillii hatches and the largest of trout will be out feeding.

There are a few good relatively cheap places to spend the night right next to the river, let me know and I will sort it out.
